The Christian Sinner
I actually do not know how this topic sounds to your hearing. But it definitely sounds bizarre to my own hearing.
The Christian sinner is actually a contraption of two opposite words combined together.A Christian And Then A Sinner
By definition, a Christian is one who is given to and dedicated to Christ. He pleases Christ always.A sinner on the other hand is one who is given to and dedicated to Sin. He pleases the devil always. How then do we now have a Christian sinner?
When you look around you, you will find some set of people who claim and profess to be Christians. They are Christians because we call them so. They are Christians because it is fashionable to say so. But these persons have a lifestyle that is sinful. Their lifestyle does not depict the presence of Christ.
These ones are a hybrid of Christianity and sinfulness.
In case you find yourself in the picture of this unholy hybrid, I have good news for you.There is no reservation in heaven for those who are Christian’s sinners.
No true Christian can be a Sinner, and no Sinner is a Christian.
It is either you are a Christian or you are a Sinner. There is no neutral point.
In Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.â€Going by this scripture, we learnt that for Peter and John, they did not have to talk before people around took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.
Their actions, their dressings, their utterances, their disposition suggested the presence of Jesus. No wonder, they were called Christians in Antioch.
If you are a genuine Christian, congratulations and keep on walking in the light of Christ. If you are a Sinner however, I encourage you to repent of your sins and give your life to Christ immediately.Christian Sinners -if there is anything like that- will eventually be treated like sinners.If you will be hot for God, be very hot. If you are cold, try to be very cold. Luke warmness is forbidden in the spiritual realm.
I encourage you today to be a Christian approved of Christ Himself in all ramifications.
